Campaign Story

Hello my name is Maria Collins and my husband’s name is Anthony. When we were first getting to know each one of our first conversations were regarding children and we both knew right off the bat we would love them.

We have been together for 6 years and were married in 2023 surrounded by all of our friends and family. We bought our first starter home June of 2024 . After multiple years trying to naturally conceive we started our infertility journey October of 2024.

Our journey started with 1 polyp removal and 3 failed IUI’s due to unknown infertility.

This journey has had many challenges but I truly wouldn’t want to do them with anyone else. I feel like it has strengthen our relationship in ways we never knew it could.

After we had our consultation with our doctor she told us our next steps would be IVF. We found out days after our consultation that the benefits through my employer only give us partial coverage for 1 procedure due to changing the benefits so with that Being said our estimate out of pocket is $7,000 . With us both a being in our 30s ,he’s 31 and I’m 34 my internal clock is ticking. I never imagined being in a situation like this it’s truly humbling and for ever grateful to everyone I’ve met who share the same struggles 1 and 6.

To add a child to our family would be a dream come true.If this IVF is not successful we will be looking into adoption so we can have the dream we always wanted. I was adopted at 9 years old to an amazing family who never treated me any different.  We believe we could give a child an amazing life and any help to make this dream a reality would never be forgotten and forever appreciated.
